Lilongwe, January 26, Mana: As the country is going through the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, a gospel musician, Holy Stone based in Mzimba is set to drop a single titled ‘Chimdaliso‘ in which he preaches the message of hope.
In an interview with Malawi News Agency (MANA), Holy Stone (real name Gerald Ndola) said the song will be released to give the people hope in the wake of the pandemic.
“We must not lose hope, Malawi is a God-fearing country, therefore, I encourage everyone to keep their eyes focused on God and everything will be fine,” Stone said.
He said the message in the single is meant to encourage everyone, even those who feel God cannot do anythingin their life.
Stone added that besides proclaiming the message of encouragement and hope, the song is also a testimony of God’s mighty works upon his life, hence the title Chimdaliso.
The artist said people should not lose trust in the Lord because the country’s safety is in God and he will surely savemankind from the corona virus pandemic.
“I also would like to advise all people in the country to keep following all [COVID-19] protective measures because that’s the physical way of defeating the virus,” he said.
The song, produced at Real Star Media Records, will premiere this coming Friday. It will also be available for download on zambuye.com as well as on Golden City tower entertainment.
In separate in interview with one of his fans, James Banda said the song has come on time and it will encourage and mend the broken hearts.
“During this time, we need such songs that should be giving us hope and faith to keep us moving towards victory,’’ he said.
Currently, the artist is working on his first album called ‘Changing levels’ which will be released in March this year.
