Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Pay attention to the words of Jesus. He says all things are possible to him who believes. He did not say, good things or bad things, but all things. The condition that those things happen to you, is your belief or expectation.
If you expect good things, they will happen to you. If you expect bad things, bad things will follow. Expectations are stronger than desires. Your desires help to position you to believe. But it’s the expectation that moves the Spirit.
One of the ways to raise your expectations is enlarging your self-concept. Your self-concept determines what you expect in life. Spend more time meditating on who you are in Christ, then watch your expectations and experiences rise!
