IT GIVES GLORY TO GOD
Romans 4:20, “He did not waver in unbelief about the promise of God but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.”
Notice the last part of our opening verse, Abraham gave glory or praise to the LORD. He did that before he received the manifestation of the promise.
When you have trusted or believed the LORD for something, praise will follow your prayers. For praise or giving thanks is a sign of faith. While worrying, complaining, murmuring and panicking are all signs of unbelief. For you can’t trust God fully and be worrying at the same time.
Many are like Thomas, who would want to see or touch the manifestation of the promises first before they believe. Strong faith begins to thank the LORD before seeing the manifestation, because it has believed.
If you’re believing God for something, as a sign that you have believed, begin to give Him thanks for it. For strong faith gives glory to God before the manifestation. That’s the bible principle of receiving things.
