Inspirational Quotes for the WEEKEND

By Charles Leyman Kachitsa

Self-belief is a sure way of every success in life and at every level. You want to thrive in life, you need self-belief. In fact, living itself means that one believes in him/ herself as to be breathing. Without it, believing in oneself, some have given up on life and seen their life ebb away painfully.

An antithesis of self-belief is self-doubt, and this should be the enemy of everyone living. Faith entails the enactment of self-belief without which most people lose hope. Faith springs from creation, believing that the creator made life. And that the creator is the one in control of all.

Whether it is general life living that you are reflecting upon, work life or business life, know that your need to believe in yourself is paramount for success. Many people have gone down because of being an enemy to themselves. And that enmity is usually shown through self-doubt, not believing in oneself or your own capability.

The quotes this week are a continuation extract from the book to which one commentator stated that it gives every human soul a great and wonderful gift, it shows in the clearest terms yet how to produce what God has always intended for us, a life of joy unbounded. I am sure the selected quotes below from this book will enlighten you to one or two life lessons. Read and enjoy:

INFINITE POSSIBILITIES – THE ART OF LIVING YOUR DREAM by Mike Dooley

“Day in and day out, we’re always unavoidably thinking thoughts, and surprisingly, we’re hardly aware of what most of them are. Yet as we perpetually think these thoughts, we also perpetually visualize, anticipate, expect, and, ultimately, manifest the life we lead. We unconsciously yet effortlessly breathe life into all our mechanics involved. And so it should be. But what we ought to at least become aware of is that it’s our normal everyday thoughts and wandering imagination that compose most of our thoughts, so it’s these thoughts that are responsible for bringing about most of our experiences. “

“There’s no question that limiting beliefs can hold you back, but the reverse is true of empowering beliefs. They can send you through the stratosphere with love, joy, health, and abundance. In either case, your beliefs are like the encased steel girders that support the skyscrapers of your thoughts: invisible but so powerful. Even in the Bible (KJV), Mark 9:23 says that all things are possible with belief, and it adds no caveats! It doesn’t say that all things are possible with belief ‘if God says so,’ or ‘if you’re a good person,’ or ‘if you haven’t sinned,’ or ‘if you pray,’ or ‘if you deserve.’ It says all things are possible when you believe! And this is true, because your beliefs draw to themselves all the necessary thoughts to things your expectations into the physical world. Virtually everything we’ve ever been told about what it takes to succeed in the world comes a distant second place to beliefs.“

“The emotion of happiness, which is what we’re all really after, is a product of our perception, like all our emotions, and our perceptions are a product of our beliefs.“

“Anger is similar to depression in that it results from a perceived loss of power or control felt over a period of time. Yet instead of, or in addition to, being overcome with a passive sense of depression, and instead of constructively dealing with these perceptions as they arise, the situation is allowed to simmer until it is ultimately attacked with rage. Of course, since you’re the one going into a rage, you’re the one who will suffer its consequences in the form of disturbing your own health, increasing the friction or stress in your relationships, and providing no solution to the original disturbance. The sad irony with anger is that it’s always expressed in an attempt to correct or rectify a situation, yet its expression does the exact opposite.“

“Anything that affects our thinking affects our lives. And nothing else affects our thinking more than our beliefs.”
