During a worship seminar, worship leaders were asked, ‘what would be your number 1 vision as a worship leader?’. A young man replied; ‘I dream to come to a point where I can begin to just worship and the whole congregation joins me without even asking them to’.
What a vision! It is the essence of impactful worship. Paul and Silas had that. We saw in part 1, that the first step to this kind of worship is having full confidence in God. Today, I share the second step:
Philippians 3:3 For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh
The second step is to have confidence in your worship. You need to believe and have the consciousness that your worship is led by the Spirit. Therefore, it is full of power.
A Spirit inspired worship is always impactful. Paul believed that each time he worshiped, the Spirit moved, so he was not shocked when the Spirit moved mightily in those prison cells. Believe in the power of your worship!
