Among other reasons, what we draw from the Word of God and the results we can produce from the same may differ firstly because of our level of understanding. Secondly, our degree of reverence to God’s Word and lastly, the measure of faith we can add to the Word.
SEEDS OF VICTORY
With Apostle Joseph Ziba
”But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.” Matthew 13:8 KJV
Therefore, to every Word you will ever receive from God, you must strive to understand it (Matthew 13:23). You must then give it the reverence it deserves knowing it comes from God (1 Thessalonians 2:13) and then you must add faith to it (Hebrews 4:2).
The opening verse above helps us to put things in the right perspective. Notice that all the people mentioned in that Scripture are equated to a good ground. Surprisingly, some brought forth more fruits than others. Why? They differed in the aspects of faith, understanding and reverence.
Dear Heavenly Father, I desire to profit fully from Your Word. Therefore, I yield my heart to You so that You should teach me to tremble at Your Word and give me an understanding heart. In Jesus name. Amen.
