In a post-match interview with Malawi News Agency (MANA) Coach for Disciples William Mwanza hailed his team for having applied themselves throughout the season as the results are now evident.

“This is our biggest win of the season, we had a goal at the start of the season and we are pushing for that objective which is to be in the playoffs.”

“We knew how Knights play including the areas that they attack and so we closed them out and played to our strengthens,” Mwanza said.

Mwanza further appreciated his team captain Gracious Zimba for his efforts and said they will not undermine any team during the remaining 4 games in the league.

“Zimba is an excellent player he leads from the front, he played three big games this weekend and this was the biggest game.  We got three wins, we went game after game to achieve that,” he said.
