Legendary hip hop duo The Daredevilz are back with their debut album titled ‘Daredevilz for life’.
After being silent for a long time, last month the brothers announced that they were back in the studio working on an album. Since then, there have been expectations of new music and at last it is out selling at five thousand Malawi Kwacha (MWK 5000).
The album has eighteen songs produced by themselves with artist appearances from Atikonda, Kumbu, Siddiq, Nepman and Phyzix.
The two brothers Graiton (GD) and Marcus Pasanje have had a lot of impact in Hip Hop and music in general making a long list of hits singles, collaborations and produced hits for other artists as well.
Their album cover shows a violent lightning strike in a cemetery with the Daredevilz sitting on headstones and a burning body coming from the ground. In an interview with Leyman publications, GD said his personal interpretation of the cover is, ‘it symbolises overcoming personal demons and conquering the darkness that is within us and staying true to one self for life.’
The songs in the album are mostly about Love, Hate, Hustle and personal demons. It has not been produced very differently from their previous project ‘welcome to the darkside’ mixtape.
