Moderator forMlombwa CCAP in Blantyre Synod has urged all parliamentary candidates for Blantyre Kabula Constituency to accept the outcome of the election results after May 21.
Mlombwa CCAP Moderator, Rev. Collins Maganga made the call on Sunday in his sermon during a church service which was organised to pray for all the aspiring parliamentary candidates and ward councillor as the polling day get closer.
“We always have problems with Members of Parliament disputing results of elections unlike ward councillors but let me call upon all of you here to please accept the results as they come.
“Leaders are chosen by God as such we are not supposed to question God’s choice but rather move forward together,” Maganga said.
He encouraged the shadow MP’s to preach peace in the last days of their campaigning activities.
“As we only remain with 8 days to the voting day. Let us give messages of unity not messages of hatred that can fuel anger in people’s hearts. We are all one in the eyes of God Almighty, let us co-exist,” Maganga added.
The services was attended by aspiring MP’s like Gertrude Nankhumwa, Independent, Rashid Gaffar for DPP, Felix Njawala for UTM, Francis Muluzi and Samuel Kaphuka as Independent and Miguel Elias of MCP as well as aspiring councillors form different wards within the constituency and councillors
